Any medium that makes it easy for you to express freely while you are journalling is the best medium to use. In the two examples here one is done with crayola on inexpensive copy paper and the other is done with crayola markers on the same paper. You may choose a medium that is bold or another that is more soft. You may choose a medium because you like the way it feels, or you may even choose a medium just because it is what you have on hand!
